Input > Landscape Utilities > Merge Landscape Files

This utility is used for merging two to four existing Landscape (.LCP) files into a single .LCP file. Files to be merged must contain the same themes and have the same units for these themes. The Merge utility combines files in priority order. Values for overlapping raster cells will be taken from the first source map containing a positive attribute.

Using this utility

  1. From the main menu select the Input > Landscape Utilities > Merge Landscape Files command. This brings up the "Merge .LCP Files" dialog box.

  1. Brief instructions are displayed in the message window at the bottom of the dialog box.

  2. Use the check boxes on the left for each file you want to merge. Merging .LCP files does not affect the input theme files. You will see the juxtaposition of the .LCP file boundaries displayed on the right. Choose the destination LCP file for output.

  3. select the Merge button to begin the merging process. When the Progress box indicates the process is finished, click the Exit button.
