Output > Zoom > Zoom

Selecting the Output > Zoom > Zoom command or the toolbar button activates a zoom cursor for the 2D or 3D landscape.

Operation

After selecting the Output > Zoom > Zoom command, position the zoom cursor (three small rectangles with a +) at the upper left corner of the region you want to enlarge. While holding down the left mouse button, drag the cursor and the rubber band box down to the lower right corner of your target region and release the left mouse button. A new window will be placed in the upper left corner of your screen. You can resize this zoom window by grabbing the frame and stretching to the desire size.

The image shown in the zoom window is an enlargement of a portion of the original bitmap. You should resize the zoom window to the desired size, realizing that you can change the scaling of the "X" and "Y" axes. Once the zoom window is established, its scroll bars can be used to maneuver the position of the window over the landscape.

Redrawing the Zoom Window

Fire perimeters shown in the zoom window and the 3D window can be redrawn to reduce the pixelation in the zoom window by pressing the right mouse button on the zoom window. Resizing or scrolling of the zoom window will erase the redrawn perimeters. Fire perimeters are redrawn in white without coloration of fire characteristics. Attached vector and visible perimeters files are not re-drawn.

If the Replay Delay is set greater than zero, the perimeters will be redrawn one at a time creating an animation of the simulation.
