The User Guide is intended to provide some explanations of the steps involved in running FARSITE. It can be used to answer questions about "why" and "how" things are done. Options and functions not covered in the User Guide are found in the Reference Guide which is a compendium of all functions and settings in FARSITE.
The Users Guide can be used as step by step instructions for learning FARSITE or as a refresher guide for building your own simulations. Each step in the Users Guide has a link to a corresponding Tutorial Lesson with a detailed example of the step. Both the Users Guide and Tutorial have a browse sequence at the top of the "Help" window to take you through the steps in the correct order, so they can be used together or separately.
